This is where the real fun begins. Water features can be simple or extravagant. It is after all ‘the’ feature.

Before you get carried away, it is important to remember the relationship that the feature will have with the rest of the garden. A great running stream stuck in the middle will look contrived and wrong. If there is a ‘natural’ slope to exploit it will look ‘natural’.

A small feature will provide a focal point in any garden and you can’t beat the sound of running water.
